Egg Industry Center Provides Scholarships to Ag Law Course Students
For the past three years, the Egg Industry Center has provided scholarships to law students enrolled in the Animals and Agricultural Production -Law & Policy short course. The course is designed to help students understand the existing legal structure and theory involved in modern animal science.
The course allows students to learn and apply scientific knowledge about animal production for both research and agriculture. This course provides valuable preparation and learning experiences for students interested in agriculture and the ongoing debate about agriculture as a production system.
The 2012 law course was offered at the University of Oklahoma, College of Law, in Norman, Oklahoma during Spring Intersession – Sunday, May 13 through Sunday, May 20.
Only students from schools other than the University of Oklahoma are eligible for the Egg Industry Center scholarship assistance. The $2500 scholarships are used to cover non-resident tuition, fees, enrollment charge, housing expenses, and travel expenses. Students bear the cost of their own meals and refreshments while attending the course. For more information regarding the course, please click here.
