Beth Zuber is the recipient of the National Scholarship from the North American Meat Institute. Beth is a senior in animal science and her involvement with meat science began while taking meat science courses at ISU. Beth grew up in the Williamsburg, Iowa area where her family farms row crops and farrow to finish hogs. She was involved in 4-H and FFA where she held state and local leadership positions.Additionally she showed market lambs through 4-H and FFA at the state and national level for 8 years. Upon graduation, she plans to attend graduate school to earn a MS in Meat Science. She is currently involved with the ISU intercollegiate meat judging team and is working as an undergraduate research assistant in the Lonergan lab.
