President: Kylie Miller Vice President: Alyson Alcala Secretary: Kaci Keitzer  L-R: Alyson Alcala, Kylie Miller, Kaci Keitzer Next Meeting : February 25, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in 104 Kildee Hall Year in Review: The Sheep Interest Group kicked off the fall semester with a meeting held at Roger and Sherry Olsen’s farm. They were given a tour of their operation and then had a great lamb supper. In September, a small group of members volunteered to help at the Ak-Sar-Ben livestock show. The interest group trip was taken in November to Indiana. The group toured the Purdue University Sheep Research Facilities, the Louisville Slugger, Churchill Downs, and attended the Market Mamma Bred Ewe sale. The remainder of the trip was spent at the North American International Livestock Exposition. |
