Small Animal Interest Group (SAIG)

The PVC 's Small Animal Interest Group (SAIG) focuses on the fields of Veterinary Medicine that involve small animals. SAIG events often include activities involving the general care, training, showing, nutrition, pathology, virology, toxicology, physiology, diagnosis, medical treatment, ethical treatment, surgery, recovery, and rehabilitation of small animals.
Many members of SAIG also participate in the volunteer program at the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit (SAICU) located on the back-left side of the College of Veterinary Medicine (map).
