Iowa State University hosted the Iowa 4-H Foundation scholarship presentation on Sunday at Scheman Auditorium. Over 70 scholarship opportunities valued at over $100,000 were awarded.. The various scholarship awards range in amounts from $500 to $10,000. Certain scholarships are open to students pursuing any field of study, while others are open to students pursuing degrees in agriculture, food and nutrition, ag business, animal science, journalism and STEM related studies.
Department of Animal Science Communications intern, Grace Feilmeier, received the Peyton Family Scholarship for $1,000. Grace is an Agriculture Communications major and currently assisting with the department's social media.
