5K Race
2006
WHAT: A 5K race/walk to raise funds for the Alison Ciancio Memorial Scholarship.
WHY: All proceeds from the race will be directed into the Alison Ciancio Memorial Foundation. The Foundation grants scholarships to students in the ISU Dairy Science Club who demonstrate strong commitment to helping others through involvement in community outreach activities.
WHEN: The 5K race starts at 9:00 AM on September 23, 2006.
WHERE: The race will be held at the ISU Cross Country Course, located west of The Towers dormitories, at the south edge of Ames. Additional parking will be available on the south side of Mortensen Road in a marked parking lot.

Cash prizes will be awarded to 1st and 2nd places for men and women at each distance.
HOW TO REGISTER: Registration for the race is $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children, age 16 and younger. The registration fee includes a commemorative T-shirt for those who register by September 1, 2006. After the September 1st deadline T-shirts may be purchased for $10 each.
- Registration forms will be accepted up to 8:30 AM on race day.
- Please make checks payable to the Alison Ciancio Memorial Fund.
