Winners of Undergrad Poster Contest |
| The following received awards at the Department of Animal Science Poster Contest for Undergraduate Students: First Place: Lorilee Schultz (Dr. Timms) Case Study of prevention and therapy strategies for a high somatic cell count herd. Second Place: Andrew Brown (Dr. Beitz) TNF-alpha promotes nonalcoholic fatty liver disease in diet dependent manner in rat models. Third Place: Dan Mouw (Dr. Rothschild) Candidate genes affecting sow productive life. Fourth Place: Kathy Mou (Dr. E. Lonergan) Biochemical analysis of specific proteins in the round muscle for improvement of tenderness.
