Dr. Nissen teaches advanced protein nutrition and metabolism (AnS 619).

Research
Dr. Nissen's areas of research are the role of protein synthesis and proteolysis in regulating protein deposition; and the effect of leucine metabolites on animal and human growth and metabolism.
