Grading & questions:
Each student signs up at their "home" university. Each instructor is responsible for grading the work done by the students at their institution. The three instructors agree upon a grading scheme prior to every assignment/exam. This includes grammar, structure, content, references cited, and grading keys for exams.
Although this class is a long distance course, students must be online each week to participate. The class meets online using the Breeze software program. Participation earns you points throughout the semester. Each student is responsible for finding a computer each week that they can use during the meeting time. Additionally, a headset that allows you to both listen and talk will be needed to allow you to participate. The first week of class will be a IT test to make sure that all students can access Breeze and use their equipment and software correctly.
