Kelsey Carlson, Graduate Student, is awarded MS Research Award from American Meat Science Association

Kelsey Carlson won the MS research award from the American Meat Science Association at the 2016 Reciprocal Meat Conference in San Angelo Texas.

Her poster, entitled 'Proteomic features associated with tenderness of aged pork loins' was one of twenty two posters in the division.  Students from USA and Canada participated in the competition.

Kelsey's co-authors are Ken Prusa, Chris Fedler, Ed Steadham, Amanda Outhouse, Elisabeth Lonergan, and Steven Lonergan.
