Funds are available to AB&G graduate students from the Lush Travel Fund for travel to and participation in scientific meetings.  The maximum annual dispersal is $200, without a first-author abstract, or $300, with an abstract.  Requests should be limited to one per student per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).  Please follow the link below to the application form.

Note that these funds are restricted to graduate students in the AB&G major.

APPLICATION FORM for regular Lush Travel funds

Up to $750 per person is available from the Lush Travel Fund and related monies to support travel and attendance of the 2006 ISAG and/or WCGALP conferences in Brazil.

1)   Have a member of the AB&G faculty group as major advisor (Note: this includes students that are not in the AB&G major)

2)   Present a poster at either ISAG or WCGALP as first author

3)   Have not/are not requesting regular Lush Travel funds (see above) for the 06/07 fiscal year.

If you are interested in these funds, contact your major advisor. Awards will be made available through your major advisor and a limited number of awards have been allocated per faculty, who will individually distribute these awards to members of their group.

Please note that additional possibilities exist for you to obtain funding to help support travel to scientific meetings, for example from the Graduate Student Senate.
