The mission of the ISU Dairy Program is to serve students, dairy producers, allied industry, and consumers through resident instruction, distance learning, research, and extension. Activities focus on discovery, development, and dissemination of knowledge that enhances understanding of basic animal biology; promotes economically viable and environmentally sustainable dairy production systems; maintains animal well-being; and results in desirable, safe and nutritious products.
