Research Primary research interests encompass quantitative genetics and animal breeding related to beef cattle. Projects (past and current) include: 1) Docility in Limousin cattle; 2) Re-estimation of carcass variance components for the North American Limousin Foundation; 3) Association of carcass traits and tenderness to GeneSTAR markers; 4) Body condition score as an early indicator of stayability in beef females; 5) Maternal inheritance of pulmonary arterial pressure in Angus cattle. | |
