Description
A world-renown faculty in Animal Science provide opportunities for
graduate students to study with some of the leading scientists in the
world. Graduate majors in Animal Breeding and Genetics, Animal
Physiology, Animal Science and Meat Science are offered by the
Department creating a wide range of opportunities for professional
development. The Department of Animal Science also participates in
interdepartmental majors in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology,
Genetics, Immunobiology, Microbiology, Molecular, Cellular and
Developmental Biology, Neuroscience, Nutritional Sciences, Professional
Agriculture, Sustainable Agriculture and Toxicology, thus providing a
highly diverse blend of students and faculty, and a unique environment
for graduate study.
