Animal Science Staff Receive CYtation Awards

Tom Williams with his CYtation awardTom Williams and Mary Sue Mayes received CYtation awards at Thursday's 2017 Professional and Scientific Council Award Ceremony. The criteria for the CYtation award is the person must be a P&S employee and be nominated for performing above and beyond the call of duty, doing something extraordinarily well, and acting in such a way as to make a very real difference in the institution.

Tom works as an Agricultural Specialist II at the Beef Nutrition farm. The Farm manager is Greg Messerschmidt and much of Tom's work is with Dr. Stephanie Hansen. However, he works with all that use the Beef Nutrition farm.

Mary Sue Mayes with her CYtation awardMary Sue Mayes is an Assistant Scientist within the Department of Animal Science and has worked with Dr. Jim Reecy's lab and has helped to establish the lab for Dr. James Koltes.
