Graduate Student, Melissa Diest, gives talk in the UK

Melissa DiestAt the recent World Veterinary Poultry Association conference in Edinburgh UK, graduate student Melissa Diest gave a podium talk on her graduate research, and Sue Lamont gave an invited Keynote talk on “Breeding for Disease Resistance ”. Over 2,000 poultry health professionals from around the globe were in attendance.

The World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPA) is a global professional association for poultry veterinarians and other avian health professionals. WVPA is run by an elected Executive and holds a Global Congress every two years. Its members come from all around the world and are in academia, research, government, industry and practice.
