Iowa Poultry Association Announces Inaugural Emerging Leader Class

December 21, 2017- Iowa Poultry Association is pleased to announce the names of participants in the inaugural Emerging Leader Class.

IPA’s Emerging Leader Program will aid in building individuals who wish to contribute to the future of the poultry industry through growth in their own personal careers. Emerging Leaders Program offers a blend of industry networking and educational events that are targeted specifically to the Emerging Leader group. Those chosen are Jerod Bruget, Sioux Falls, SD, Nick Bryars, Ankeny, IA, Sarah Elenkiwich, Litchfield, MN, Catherine Faylor, Eagle Grove, IA, Matie George, Ames, IA, Justin Haats, West Des Moines, IA, Cameron Hall, Ames, IA, John Hopp, Clearfield, IA, Barrett Rehm, Eagle Grove, IA, Hillari Sanders, Galt, IA, Tom Sellers, Sioux Center, IA, Nick Smith, Sioux Rapids, IA, Nathan Stanton, Urbandale, IA, Tony Tobkin, Wilmar, MN, and Lesa Vold, Ames, IA.

Experiences will include IPA and other industry educational meetings, webinars and tradeshows, along with board meeting attendance, public policy briefings, and networking and social activities. “This new program through Iowa Poultry Association is helping us recognize up and comers in the poultry industry; creating a new generation of leaders in our organization", said JT Dean, President of Iowa Poultry Association.

Kevin Stiles, Executive Director of IPA stated, “I’m excited for the incoming class for our Emerging Leader Program. We have a great group of talented individuals, and I look forward to the coming year of events and development, and professional growth for this group. I believe this program will help these individuals as well as their employers, in the future.”
