ISU Judging Team Has Successful Run at the American Royal!

The 2016 Iowa State University recently competed at the American Royal Livestock Judging Contest in Kansas City, MO. This contest is one of the largest and most competitive events year round, with 25 teams and 125 contestants competing for top honors. This year, the Iowa State University Livestock Judging Team placed 5th in beef judging, 5th in sheep and goat judging, and 5th overall! The team was paced by Johnathan Triggs, who was named the high point individual overall in the contest! The team wraps up their judging career in a few short weeks at the national intercollegiate contest in Louisville, KY at the North American International Livestock Exposition.
