This 1915 team demonstrated the genuineness of their training in the Denver Live Stock Judging Contest, where they were 51 points out of a possible 8,000 in the lead of their nearest competitors, the Colorado team. The striking feature of the matter is the close ranking of the Ames team. There were but 35 points between top and bottom men. The men in order of their ranking were: Milton H. Scott, tied for 1st; Clair G. Mason, 3rd; Otto H. Tuttle, 6th; Thomas Roberts, 8th, and J. Pa4vin Eves, 9th. David Noble was announced alternate just before the contest. This team was picked and coached by Prof. W. H. Pew.
