This 1916 team was second at the International. The team was composed of Wheeler, Evans, J. M. Buoy (not pictured?) F. F. DeButts (not pictured?) and Christensen, with L. v. Wilson as alternate (not pictured?). In a very close tontest with fifteen teams and eighty-seven men entered, Iowa State took second place with a total of 3,950 points, just twenty points behind winning Indiana. Ohio, Texas and Kansas placed next in order. The team as a whole scored first on hogs an second on horses. The team took first at the Denver Western.
