Another first place for Iowa State with this team! After twenty-two International contests, the Ames teams have averaged 2.85 rank, with eight firsts, three seconds, and in every year but one they have ranked fifth or above, a much better record than any of the other schools. At the 1922 show, Iowa State won another coveted bronze bull statue offered by the association! J. C. Holbert was High Man of the Contest. The team placed third at the Kansas City American Royal.
