The 1938 Iowa State Livstock Judging Team entered three shows again this year and placed first among six at the National Belgian Horse Show at Waterloo, placed sixth among seventeen teams at the American Royal, Kanasas City, and tied for first with Kansas State College at the International Livestock Exposition in Chicago with twenty-five other teams competing. Beryl Keen won third high position at Waterloo; Don Rinner took first honors for individual at the American Royal and Jacob Stimson won highest individual honors for judging at the International.
