The 1959 team took 11th place at the collegiate livestock judging contest at the International Livestock Show in Chicago, 2nd at the Southwest, 6th at the Kansas City Royal, 4th at Denver Western, 9th at Denver Carlot, and 2nd at the National Barrow Show.
