The 1962 team took 3rd place at the collegiate livestock judging contest at the International Livestock Show in Chicago, 6th at the Southwest in Fort Worth, 5th at the National Barrow Show, 10th at the Kansas City Royal, 3rd at Denver Western, and 1st at Denver Carlot.
