Jeff and Deb Hansen Agricultural Student Learning Center welcomes Jordan Eggman as new building manager

Jordan EggmanJordan Eggman of Creston, Iowa, will replace recently retired Marshall Ruble as the new building manager at the Jeff and Deb Hansen Agricultural Student Learning Center at Iowa State University. Jordan is an Iowa State graduate with an extensive agricultural background. Most recently Jordan was a beef herdsman at Northwest Missouri State University and has also worked for United Farmers Cooperative, Hansen Cattle Company in Hamlin, Iowa, and Greiman Brothers Feedlot. While in college he worked at the Iowa State University Beef Teaching Farm and had internships with Mike and Carol Brentnall Angus in Creston, Iowa, and Wiese and Sons Herefords in Manning, Iowa.

“Jordan is coming in with a wealth of knowledge about livestock and ag business. He is a hard worker and will be a welcome addition to Iowa State University,” said Marshall Ruble, retired manager of the Jeff and Deb Hansen Agricultural Student Learning Center. The Hansen Center held about 205 meetings and events, as well as 26 undergraduate classes in 2019, but missed their busiest spring ever with the shutdown in March due to Covid-19. “We are excited to have Jordan on board for the upcoming Governor’s Charity Steer Show on August 15th.”
