The Department of Animal Science recently hosted 526 FFA students from across Iowa for the FFA poultry CDE program. The event had 9 stations including a written exam, internal and external egg evaluation, placing live birds, ready to cook carcass grading and placements, ready to cook parts identification, and grading of further processed products.
