Iowa State excels at ACMC

This summer, the Iowa State University Meat Laboratory Interns traveled to Omaha, NE, to attend the American Association of Meat Processors Convention and compete in the 2024 American Cured Meat Championships University Division.

Students also helped check in over 800 cured meat products, assisted judges, tabulated scores, attended a tradeshow, and had the opportunity to interact and learn from some of the very best processors and professionals in the processed meats industry.

We are very proud of their success at this year's AAMP convention and look forward to what's in store for them as they continue their academic and professional careers!
