The Iowa State Department of Animal Science is proud to announce that members for the Beef Leadership Fellows Program will represent the department at the upcoming Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show (CattleCon) in February. This prestigious event provides an opportunity for students and faculty to engage with industry professionals, expand their knowledge, and advocate for the future of the beef industry.
The program participants include a talented group of students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, academic excellence, and dedication to the beef industry. Representing Iowa State at CattleCon are:
Clayton Stoskopf – Senior, Animal Science
Mary Ann Fox – Junior, Agricultural Systems Technology
Ashlee DeMolles – Senior, Animal Science
Grace Pollitt – Senior, Animal Science
Ella Hommel – Senior, Agricultural Business, International Agricultural, Political Science
Matt Brinkman – Senior, Animal Science and Agronomy
Wyatt Lorch – Junior, Animal Science
Eian Weber – Junior, Animal Science
Grant Boyd – Sophomore, Animal Science
These students are actively involved in various departmental initiatives, such as Collegiate Cattleman, Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, and hands-on research and teach activities. Their commitment to leadership and learning makes them excellent representatives of Iowa State’s commitment to agriculture and animal science excellence.
