Why is our sale unique?

The Tradition of Excellence Sale is a biannual heifer and bred female sale that is hosted by students of Iowa State University. This opportunity allows students to gain hands-on experience in seedstock merchandising. Students who are on the sales team will be in charge of halter breaking cattle, clipping, photographing sale cattle, advertising, etc. Students who fully participate and satisfactorily complete the experience of hosting the sale will have the opportunity to receive academic credit (2.0 credits) in AnS 497: Livestock Merchandising.
