Year in Review: The Poultry Interest Group has hosted monthly meetings featuring guest speakers such as Danielle Drees from Elanco, Elycia VanVacter from the North Central Poultry Association, and Dawn Koltes from Iowa State University. In the fall, we toured Versova’s Ovation Farm in Thompson, IA, one of the nation’s largest egg producers. In the spring, we attended the PEAK Conference in Minneapolis, where we networked with poultry professionals from across the country and learned about the industry’s latest innovations. We also hosted an educational booth at Animal Learning Day, where we taught attendees about biosecurity and avian influenza.
