Year in Review:
In October the Swine Interest Group took their fall trip to Missouri and Illinois. Before they left the state of Iowa however, they made a stop at Kinze Manufacturing and learned about their farm machinery production. In Illinois they toured The Maschhoffs in Carlyle and Farmland in Monmouth. In both Missouri and Illinois they visited several boar studs. Throughout the rest of the year, the group helped with numerous hog shows and other events including getting pigs ready for the National Barrow Show. During their meetings they had speakers from the pork industry, including Al Christian.
