The Animal Science “An-Cy Guides” Program’s mission is to aid in the already on-going existing recruitment of prospective undergraduate Animal Science, Dairy Science and General Pre-Veterinary students through Iowa State University as well as the retention of undergraduate students within the Department of Animal Science. An-Cy Guides assist faculty and staff with recruitment and educational events throughout the school year. An-Cy Guides serve as the liaisons to answer questions from prospective students and families and to talk about their experience within the Department of Animal Science as well as at Iowa State University.
