The Iowa State University Animal Science program is recognized globally as being one of the best programs for students to receive experiential learning. 2022 WCGALP - Iowa State group
July 29, 2022

A group of 14 students, post-docs and faculty from the ISU Animal Breeding and Genetics Group visited the Netherlands for the World Congress on Genetics Applied to Livestock Production (WCGALP) conference in Rotterdam from July 4 to July 9th, 2022. 

Several faculty and students presented research papers as short pitches (90 sec talks) or seminars.

The 2022 Poultry Science Association Annual Meeting was held on July 11-14, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. Several members of the Department of Animal Science at Iowa State University were recognized for their efforts in the poultry industry. The annual meeting offered attendees exposure to the latest science and research, while presentations from industry and academia offered a variety of information and opportunities to poultry scientists while recognizing their work.
